Horst Frank (1929-1999) was a German actor known for his work in films and television productions. He appeared in over 120 films and TV shows during his career, which spanned over four decades.
Frank started his acting career in the early 1950s, appearing in minor roles in German films. He gained prominence during the 1960s and 1970s, when he starred in a series of popular crime and action films, including spaghetti westerns and giallos.
He was known for playing tough, no-nonsense characters and often portrayed villains. Some of his notable film roles include "The Last Ride to Santa Cruz" (1964), "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" (1966), and "The House That Screamed" (1970).
Frank also appeared in several German TV shows, including the long-running crime drama "Tatort". In addition to his acting work, he also worked as a voice actor and dubbing artist.
Frank ultimately retired from acting in the early 1990s and passed away in 1999 at the age of 70.
